The Hollwedel Memorial Library periodically offers special programs on a wide variety of topics such as technology, computer programs, adult and children's crafts, health-related workshops and performances. Our "Knitter's Nook" meets every Monday we're open 3-5pm. Join our monthly Free Adult Yoga classes on the last Wednesday of every month, 6-7pm. Our Summer Reading Program is offered each year for six weeks and runs from July through August. Each year, children of all ages and their families can enjoy a special themed Summer Program that is full of activities, prizes, books, and lots of fun. We kick off this year's program on July 10th, the first day you can see this year's prizes for all ages, earn tickets toward maybe winning one, grab a Freezie Pop, and come to our free program with the return of the hugely popular magician and entertainer, Chris Johnson, at 6pm.  Mark your calendar now for the return of Shake of the Lake, hilariously attempting to put on "The Complete Works of William Shakespeare - Abridged" on Friday, July 14th. Curtains Up is 6pm but we hope to have food trucks prior again. This project is made possible with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant Program, a regrant program of the New York State Council on the Arts with the support of the office of the Governor and the New York State Legislature and administered by GO ART! Friday, August 18th for our Wrap-up Pizza Party, featuring the return of the hugely popular inflatable slip-n-slide, sno-cones, popcorn, and the announcement of winners!
